Here's a little peek into my post-processing for these quick concept mood pieces.
First, the initial idea is framed up with the desired perspective and feel in Keyshot.
Next, this base Keyshot render is sent over to the iPad Pro and experimentation with some of the filters inside Snapseed. For this one, I used Vintage Style 11 with the brightness pumped slightly, followed by a Grainy Film filter B03. The nice thing about Snapseed is that you can go back and edit the settings for each style applied.
I can't resist trying out LensFlare, and the Sun Fire FX is applied to a layer. Again, these all have sliders for edibility.
Finally, I post the image via Instagram, where yet another filter is - in this case, Lark, simply because it add just another tad of contrast to pull out the character from the background while adding a subtle vignette.
Getting lost with filter overload is a real concern, so I try to use them sparingly.
